Computer Help Desk Associate
Pay: $10.43 per hour
Hours: 16.5 regularly scheduled hours per week.*
Tuesday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Friday: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm**
*Regularly scheduled hours are subject to change as deemed necessary by department supervisors and manager.
**Includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Duties include: Providing One-on-one Assistance to customers using the public computers with their questions and technology needs (including use of library online resources and services), performing basic and routine maintenance of equipment in the public computer area, assisting with the use of the public photocopier, accurately report technology issues with equipment and other tasks as assigned.
- Ability to provide one-on-one and group instruction to meet the diverse needs of library customers (prior experience preferred)
- Mastery of MS Office, Internet usage, email, and other popular/commonly used software and websites.
- Ability to perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
