INCLEMENT WEATHER
If the library feels that driving conditions pose a danger to our customers and our staff, the library will consider closing early, opening late, or remaining closed entirely. Because such decisions are made often at the last minute, it is usually not possible to advertise the delay or closing widely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Whenever possible we will advertise a change in hours on channel
WLEX-18, on WKYT-TV,and on the JCPL home page.

The library observes the following holidays by closing.

Easter
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
In addition to the holidays above, the library closes approximately twice a year for staff training. These days will be publicly posted on the library premises and on Events Calendar at least one week before the closing. |
