Calling all cosplayers!
Complete your Comic Surge look with Cosplay Crafts at JCPL.
In each of these sessions, use Creative Space equipment to customize your very own superhero suit. Then, join us on October 8 for the sixth annual Comic Surge, a family-friendly comic con-style event at the library!
Cosplay Crafts: Capes
October 3, 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Design your superhero or character name in CorelDRAW, then press it onto a cape with the heat press.
Cosplay Crafts: Shields
October 4, 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Design your superhero shield in CorelDRAW, then print it with the vinyl cutter.
Cosplay Crafts: Belt Buckles
October 5, 4:00–7:00 p.m.
3D print your superhero belt buckle, then learn about the laser cutter while waiting for your print job to finish.
Registration is required for each of the Cosplay Craft programs. All ages are welcome! Participants under the age of 11 must register and attend with their parents or guardians. Visit our events calendar for more information and to sign up.
