Welcoming JCPL+ to Wilmore

The Jessamine County Public library is excited to introduce a new, self-service library hub to the city of Wilmore: JCPL+. This extension of JCPL’s services is located inside Wilmore’s City Hall and is available to use Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

The first branch of its kind in Kentucky, JCPL+ allows library cardholders* to access the self-service space by scanning their library card and inputting their pin number. Once inside, cardholders can browse and check out books and DVDs for children, teens, and adults, use the public computers, printer, and copier, pick up holds, return materials, and more.

If cardholders run into trouble while using the JCPL+ space, there is a convenient videophone available that allows customers to quickly connect with a library staff member at the Nicholasville JCPL location to get assistance.

Services offered at JCPL+:

  • Holds pick-up
  • Book drop for returns
  • New & popular materials
  • Books for children, teens, and adults
  • DVDs
  • Public computers
  • Printing & copying services
  • Convenient videophone to chat with library staff

*Cardholders must be in good standing with the library in order to enter JCPL+. Cardholders must also be 18 years of age or older to enter JCPL+ unattended. Library in a Box cards will not work for entry into JCPL+. If you would like to apply for a library card, please contact us at (859) 885-3523.
