Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book-gifting program that provides a hand-picked, high-quality book each month to registered children at no cost to the family.

Dolly Parton envisioned creating a lifelong love of reading, inspiring children to dream. Research of the program’s impact suggests positive increases in essential early childhood literacy metrics.

The Imagination Library of Jessamine County is offered by the Jessamine County Public Library in partnership with Jessamine County’s Ready to Learn Committee, a subgroup of First5 Bluegrass Early Childhood Council.
