Online library card applications are available for customers who are 18 years old or older.

Jessamine County Residents and Employees

Library cards are free to all who live or work in Jessamine County.

What You’ll Need

  • A photo ID and proof of current address.
  • If you live in another county but work in Jessamine, you will also need proof of employment, such as a pay stub.

Non-Residents

Library cards are also free to all who can present proof of ID along with a library card from any of the following counties:

Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, and Woodford.

Library Card Application

Once you have read and agreed to the library card agreement and submitted your application, we will email you your library card number within one business day. When the library reopens, stop by to sign the agreement in person and pick up your card.
