Get a Library Card

Online library card applications are available for Jessamine County residents who are 18 years old or older.

Jessamine County Residents

Library cards are free to all who live in Jessamine County. To apply, you’ll need a photo ID and proof of current address.

If you are 18 years old or older, you may apply using the form below. If you are under 18, please stop by the library in person with a parent or guardian.

Jessamine County Employees

Library cards are free to all who work in Jessamine County. We invite you to visit the library in person to apply for a library card.

What You’ll Need

  • A photo ID and proof of current address.
  • Proof of employment, such as a pay stub.

Non-Residents

Library cards are also free to all who can present proof of ID along with a library card from any of the following counties: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, and Woodford.

Library Card Application

Once you have read and agreed to the library card agreement and submitted your application, we will email you your library card number within one business day. When you are able, stop by to sign the agreement in person and pick up your card.
