We are excited to announce that you can now catch free bus rides to and from Jessamine County Public Library (JCPL) with your library card! Simply find a NichTran bus stop, show the driver your library card, and then ride to the library. If you don’t have a library card, NichTran will allow you ONE free ride to the library in order to obtain one. You must have a photo ID with your current address to sign up for a JCPL library card. If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
NichTran will maintain its regular bus route and schedule, which can be found at: http://www.nichtranroute.org/. If you are unable to get to a published stop, and live within one half mile of a published stop, you can call NichTran at least 24 hours ahead of your trip and NichTran can pick you up at home.
