While we have tons of books and in-person classes to help you learn, we also have online resources to help you achieve your learning goals.

Whether you’re looking to learn American Sign Language, improve your spreadsheet skills, or explore a new craft, the library has you covered!

LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is a premier online learning resource offering more than 16,000 courses covering technical skills, creative techniques, business strategies, and more.

Courses include:

Transparent Language Online

Transparent Language Online offers lessons in over 110 languages, including:

  • American Sign Language
  • French
  • Ukrainian
  • Spanish
  • Korean
  • Chinese

You’ll also find lessons in English for speakers of over 30 languages, including Spanish and Ukrainian. Languages labeled with KidSpeak offer immersive language instruction for children.

Universal Class

Universal Class offers over 500 self-paced, online courses for patrons interested in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional reasons.

In most Universal Class courses, you can earn CEU (Continuing Education Unit) credits and interact with the course instructor. To earn CEUs, you’ll need to complete the lessons in the order in which they’re presented and pass quizzes and tests before moving on to the next lesson.

If you choose to take a class in Video Only Mode, you can view lessons in any order that you wish. However, you won’t be able to contact the instructor or earn CEUs.
