Policy Statement
The Teen Library is intended for use by customers in 6th through 12th grades (hereafter referred to as Teens). The purpose of the Teen Library is to provide information and cultural resources while offering a supportive and positive space where Teens can study, socialize, and access grade level materials.
Regulations
1. All customers, regardless of age, are welcome to select materials from the Teen Library collection.
2. Educators, direct support professionals, and youth workers may accompany Teens in the Teen Library.
3. The Teen Library is not an appropriate space for tutoring.
4. All seating, technology, and activities provided in the Teen Library are limited to Teen use only.
5. Any customer may be asked to leave the Teen Library at the discretion of Library staff.
6. The Teen Library Use Policy applies to Teen Programs at the Library and in the community.
