Kentucky’s midterm primary is Tuesday, May 19, and early voting is already under way.

Check Your Registration Status
The deadline to register to vote for the primary has passed. However, you can check your registration, find your polling place, and check on your absentee ballot request at the Voter Information Center.

Absentee Ballots
The deadline to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot was Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Mail-in ballots are due to the County Clerk by Tuesday, May 19 at 6 pm local time. There will be a drop box inside the Jessamine County Courthouse.
Civil Rights Restoration
If you have been convicted of a non-violent felony in Kentucky and have served your time, your voting rights may have been restored by a 2019 executive order. Visit the Civil Rights Restored website to learn more and to check your status. If your rights have been restored, you will still need to register to vote.
