Practice Self Care at Home

In the article “What Self-Care Is—And What it Isn’t,” Raphailia Michael defines self-care as “any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health.”

Self-care includes activities such as exercise, meditation, crafts, gardening, and healthy cooking. It can be anything that helps you feel less stressed. It shouldn't feel like a chore.

JCPL has several online resources that can help you manage stress and stay healthy from the comfort of your own home.
